Welcome and finally, I have the HTC
Desire 22 Pro. Today I'll go over unboxing along with a quick overview of this
phone. Now before I open it up. I'm going to quickly mention that this phone is
priced as a mid-range device coming at around 500, 460 euros and it also has
specs that would agree with the price tag.
What I would consider now anyway. Let's just open it
up. You have a couple of colors. I'm not exactly sure. If this is the correct color for what
I have. We have some paperwork and just a charging cable. There's nothing in
here. It's just a little pull-up of emptiness to keep the box from. I guess
sagging now the phone. Another is from the cable as a type c. I did already set
it up. You can just do this and well I can kind of see immediately the
display.
It has a 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 1080p by
2412 pixels. So just a full HD display should be pretty decent nowadays. Full
HD is kind of like the uh sweet spot for basically all phones. Even the
flagships for the most part um. It should be like, I said pretty well now. This
is just an IPS LCD but it has a 120-hertz refresh rate. You should be getting
this buttery smooth refresh rate. I'm not sure. If it's enabled by
default.
Let's just go into settings and see looks like it's on but
it looks a little bit weird. Let's see the screen timeout or the refresh rate.
This is the pro version. It should have a 120-hertz refresh rate not sure. Why
I can't find it in the settings anyway. I'm just gonna ignore this and move it
past this to the build quality of the device. So the back of the phone is
plastic, so certainly no glass. This is kind of one of the ways that
manufacturing can cut costs. We do have these weird kinds of like accents of
gold on the fingerprint sensor that doubles as a power button and also around
the camera and the reason. Why I said I'm not sure. If I'm looking at the
correct devices because this is what it came in right but it shows me white.
This ain't white. I'm not sure if there is not maybe some kind of mess up or
whatever but anyway.
The phone has several different variants that you can purchase. So at the
very base version of this the base model you would get actually. This is the
only model my bad. It's at 128 gigs of storage with 8 gigs of RAM. Now we do
have a two-less SIM tray which also
includes the tray on the backside. You can expand storage
past the 128 gigs that the device comes with. You could just put in two SIM
cards anyway moving on to the camera setup that is at the back.
we have the triple camera set up to. I'm not sure how well, they
work. I'm not going to be doing any kind of like camera test. But the main
camera sensor here is the 64-megapixel, white sensor with pdf. We have a
13-megapixel Ultra wide and a 5-megapixel depth sensor another front this
little hole punch camera and a corner is a 32-megapixel white sensor. Now with
all those cameras, they max out at 1080p 30 frames of footage. You're not even
getting 60 here, unfortunately. This could be due to the processor being a
Snapdragon 6955g which is a mid-range processor but, to be honest, I'm pretty
sure, this processor is capable of dealing with 60 frames per second on a 1080p
video recording. It seems like. They just decided to not include it now. When
also comes onto one of the notes mentions kind of Parts as a little headphone
jack. The phone is a little bit chunky. It's not the thinnest thing. I don't
think. They could get away with having a flat phone and also not including a
headphone jack. There it is and at the bottom, we have just a charging port
along with speakers and a microphone right here and that's about all these
specs unless. There's one more which is the battery and charging, so the
battery is in here even though. This phone is chunky, I mentioned the battery
size doesn't follow that same logic.
We only have a 4520-milliamp hour battery. Which is a
little bit on the small side. I would probably expect a 5000 in, here
considering the size of this device but whatever and when it comes down to
charging this phone It has an 18-watt charging now apparently. It has wireless
charging highly doubted. It does have wireless charging. I don't see any specifications
for the wireless charging, so that's a little bit underwhelming, I'm assuming.
It's probably going to be something like 5 Watts as they usually are maybe 10
marks and the last thing to
say, the phone is running on right now. The newest version of Android is
12.
